Have a little Faithless

Today is going to be short and sweet.

Go to however you play music in your house and put on God is DJ by Faithless LOUD

Then dance your socks of for some glorious minutes.

I have been reminded of the effervescent joy of dance music in the last few months. I have found House of Happiness which you can check out here They put on a sober rave every couple of months and the next one is 7th Sept which I can’t make (sad face). Its 12-5pm I mean I’m home and in PJs by 6.30pm lol last count I danced 25k steps!!

I was then treated to see Faithless a few weeks ago at The Roundhouse it would have been Maxi Jazz’s birthday and they did him PROUD. My gorgeous niece Georgie bought me a ticket for my birthday, she had reminded me that I burned her a copy of of an album I had when she would have been about 14. I gave myself some big aunty points for some excellent music education that I had completely forgotten doing!

Life man, it gets in the way and it drags the bloody life out of you if you aren’t careful. Its a hard truth that we may now clean the house to the music we went clubbing to - but who cares - it still takes us back to those crazy days. When we thought being an adult would be cool ffs!

So, grab Alexa, Spotify Apple music or if you still have a CD player high five! Put that tune on, move that body, get the blood pumping, feel the joy, feel the beat, and for a few sweet mins transport yourself back to the Rendezvous on Town Bridge, on the precipice of life with high heels and swagger.
